The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks is one of only 117 botanical gardens in the county and one of only 3 in the state. The Mission of the Garden is showcasing the natural beauty of the Ozarks, educating today for a sustainable future, and providing a venue for the community to enjoy entertainment and outdoor recreation.
David W. McKee Architects began working with the Garden in 2011 when we designed and built a butterfly pavilion. This was a pro-bono project for us, and enjoyed working with Garden staff and volunteers. Money came from a few individual donors and the resulting structure has become a highlight for visitors of all ages.
